Chelsea Steele, MD MPH
Dr. Chelsea Steele was born and raised in Miami and graduated from Palmetto High School. She earned her undergraduate degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology with Highest Distinction and was elected into Phi Beta Kappa. She completed her medical training at UNC, where she received her Doctor of Medicine and Master’s in Public Health. During this time, she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society as well as the Delta Omega Honorary Society in public health and received several scholarships for academic achievements.
After medical school, Dr. Steele completed her residency at the combined University of Texas Houston and MD Anderson Dermatology program in Houston, Texas. Dr. Steele served as Chief Cosmetic Resident during her final year of residency.
Dr. Steele specializes in both general dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. She sees both adult and pediatric patients for a variety of skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, hair loss, vitiligo, and annual skin cancer screenings. Thanks to her training at the nation’s top cancer institute, Dr. Steele is extensively trained in diagnosing and treating both non-melanoma skin cancers and melanoma as well as more rare forms of cutaneous malignancy. Additionally, her training in the country’s most diverse city made her especially skilled at treating all skin types and comfortable with complex medical dermatology. Dr. Steele prides herself on working collaboratively with patients to develop individualized cosmetic treatment plans to help them look and feel their best and is trained in neurotoxin and injectable fillers.
Dr. Steele is thrilled to once again call Miami her home and eager to build long-lasting relationships with her patients. In her free time, you will find Dr. Steele boating and fishing with her fiance, browsing the local farmer’s markets, or driving the 7-mile bridge to visit her family, who have since relocated to Key West.
