HOW IS THE XTRAC® TREATMENT PERFORMED?
This non-invasive treatment uses only rays of UVB light, so it is completely pain free. During your treatment, the XTRAC®applicator is placed on the skin to be treated as the light energy is delivered to the skin. This procedure is relatively short, often being completed in under 30 minutes.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM AN XTRAC® TREATMENT?
After your treatment, you can expect a redness that resembles a sunburn that lasts approximately 24 hours. These treatments immediately begin reducing symptoms of psoriasis, although some patients need as many as 10-12 treatments to achieve their desired results.
